It is not often we do a blog on Groom & Groomsman buttonholes. So it's about time this blog is all about lapel flowers for the men. Traditionally, the Groom’s buttonhole matches the Bride’s bouquet and this is pinned onto the left hand side of the lapel or pocket. I have also done a few pocket square flowers for the groom or a traditional small pin flower if the groom prefers a simple flower or greenery.

I met Amanda Phua in Singapore when we discussed her wedding for 25 March 2017 in Perth. Her ceremony and reception was held at Matlida Bay Reserve. Amanda's brief for her flowers was to be simple and with pastel colors.
Her photographer Sidlefaye was there to capture their wedding. Thank you to Amanda & Damien for trusting us to be a part of their wedding day.

Theresa & Kevin were a referral from a previous bride's wedding we did a year ago. At our first meeting, Theresa's brief was for an “all green” theme which she loved to have an unconventional bouquet by using just foliage! I was very excited about the thought of using all different textures of foliage for the whole wedding! All the bouquets were of foliage and foliage runners for the reception and with lots of candles.
Their wedding was held at St Michelangelo's Chapel and reception at the Tsunami Nedland. This venue has a most memerising court yard where the dinner was held. Another exciting moment we found out at the last minute; the photographer was changed to Natasja Kremers of whom I have admired and worked with over a number of years. As you can see the images were so beautifully captured.
Theresa & Kevin, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of the special day and we wish you all the best for the future.

We were asked by Katherine Rickett of DotDotDash who were the event organisers for the Cooper's Beer lunch event at the National Hotel in Fremantle. The briefing was for a natural theme of green with a touch of cream and grey. We were also very fortunate to have Kate Drennan as their official photographer of the event! She was there to capture the event and the flowers so beautifully. Thank you very much for sharing the images and to DotDotDash for the opportunity to work with you.

Kathleen & David's wedding was held at Christ Church Claremont and their reception at the Fraser State Reception Centre. Their flowers were chosen to match their soft lilac dresses and Kathleen's love for peonies. For the reception we used the same color theme in a silver to give their elevation of the centrepieces and mirrors boxes to create a soft ambience of the Fraser State Reception room. We also have a hanging centre of soft pastel deliphium's. Thank you so much for having us to be a part of your wedding day which was captured by Natasja Kremers.

Brendan our son was married to Mariana at the family home on the 30th August 2015. It was a small family affair for their civil ceremony. Ann Lord was the marriage celebrant who conducted the ceremony. I have known Ann for many years and have worked in past weddings together, so she was the perfect person to marry them with a perfect day of 25 degrees with lots of sunshine.
Mariana chose a full length green & gold sequinned gown to compliment the nature surrounding of the property with white roses, ranunculus, gysophillia & white goddess roses. Brendan & Mariana will have another wedding in Macau in November with a full tradition church wedding and a Chinese banquet at the Four Season Hotel in Macau. She also has a veil made specially by Denise McConnochie Veils which she absolutely loved! Brendan has a pocket flower to match the bouquet. He has succulent, gypsohillia and white Geraldton wax which was cultivated by Brendan’s aunt Linda Manning. The wax is called The Manning White.
Brendan + Mariana's special day was captured by Samuel Goh and his second shooter Ting from Ksana Photography. I can’t say thank you enough to them both, whose attention to detailed shots was AMAZING!
Lastly, our sincere thanks to so many peoples behind the scenes, see the links below. Also our family for being there on such a special occasion for Brendan + Mariana.
